BOOK PRODUCTION TESTIMONIALS

LISTEN UP!

Here’s what clients have to say about using Stacy’s services to help them write and/or publish their books.

"STACY'S BIGGEST CONTRIBUTION WAS HER GUIDANCE IN SHOWING ME HOW TO PERSONALIZE MY MESSAGE"

I first attended one of Stacy’s seminars on how to self-publish.  I then purchased her book and when I had my manuscript written, I hired Stacy to guide me through the process. All three of these steps increased my confidence in my pursuit to be an author. But her biggest contribution to my book was her guidance in showing me how to personalize my message.  It made my book much easier to read and resonate with the reader. Her help shortened the time it took for me to turn my book into a finished product.

"STACY'S GUIDANCE WAS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN MY BOOK SITTING...AND ACTUALLY GETTING IT PUBLISHED"

When Stacy and I started working together, I had no idea that publishing a book was so complex. Her guidance was the difference between my book sitting in a folder on my hard drive, and it actually getting published in both English and Spanish, hard copies, Kindle, you name it!

"YOU CAN HAVE NO BETTER PARTNER IN GETTING YOUR BOOK TO MARKET"

Stacy was indispensable to the writing and production of a debut novel now on Amazon. It was written by my son who is in prison. Neither my son nor I knew what the first step was in publishing a quality book, nor how it could be achieved under such difficult circumstances.

We used both pieces of Stacy’s remarkably effective offerings: first, her book “The Memoir Midwife: Nine Steps to Self-Publishing Your Book” to understand and implement the “how to” of the actual publishing process. And, secondly, her private consulting services in working with my son on improving story structure, character development, and general first class mentoring and editing. She did all this while adapting to the extremely difficult communication process of working with a Federal prisoner.

Stacy was a pleasure to work with, adapting to and advancing our level of understanding about what it takes to get a book on a shelf. She was dedicated and readily available as issues arose, and very adept in solving multiple problems, such as how do you get a book edited effectively when you have only snail mail and paper with which to communicate and can’t actually speak with the author. She is remarkable, efficient with detail. And all of her services are reasonably priced!

I think Stacy’s levels of skill at both the publishing and editing/writing levels are outstanding. You could have no better partner in getting your book to market, and you will have a good time doing it. Without Stacy’s outstanding skill and dedication our book would never have been published.

"WITHOUT STACY I WOULD HAVE FUMBLED...WOULD HAVE GIVEN UP"

Thanks to Stacy, I am now a three-time self-published author. Her publishing class, book (“The Memoir Midwife: Nine Steps to Self-Publishing Your Book”), and continual guidance and support gave me the tools, and most importantly, the confidence to take on this venture.

Without her, I would have fumbled, spent way too much time trying to figure out what to do, and would have given up. Actually, I wouldn’t have even started, because I had no idea what the self-publishing world really looked like and I would have been too intimidated to dive into it blindly.

Stacy’s ongoing support, cheerleading, and honest, but constructive, criticism have made her someone that I will always refer to as my mentor (and my reason for being able to be a successful author).

Every time I meet someone who is in the process of writing a book, or is even just thinking about it, I tell him or her that the first purchase they need to make is Stacy’s book. The second is attending her class. I cannot recommend her highly enough. Her information is concise, easy to follow and with no extra fluff. A rarity in the self-publishing information world.

To top it all off, spending time with Stacy always invigorates me to continue with what I have committed. Her own experience, humor, and true desire to have me succeed are the best parts of working with her.

If you have a book that is ready to go, or are just thinking about writing a book, you MUST learn from Stacy. This will be the most important step you take in making your book a reality.

"STACY WORKS WITH YOU TO COME UP WITH A DOABLE PLAN THAT REALISTICALLY FITS INTO YOUR SCHEDULE"

As a newly published author, I look back on my experience with Stacy as one of awe and gratefulness. I truly believe that if I had not had her step in as my Accelerated Author Coach, the pile of words and papers on my desk may never have come to fruition. Her plan of action motivated me to get my book done. If she hadn’t lovingly prodded me and held me accountable, it would never have happened. I so appreciate her approach to my style of writing.

If you are in close proximity to the “I have a book in me that I’d love to get out” or the “No one would ever read what I am writing” phase, please call Stacy. She works magic and gives you the comfort and ease of knowing that what you have inside can most certainly come out in the form of a beautiful book. If you keep it bottled up inside of you, the world will never get to experience your magic.

Stacy’s wit, humor, and friendly ways (albeit with that push you need) come across in the best ways, that you will not even be tempted to stop writing or let your project slide. She has you check in with her once a week to report your progress. If you are like me, you don’t want to email her and say you have not been doing anything that week. She works with you to come up with a doable personal plan that includes the number of hours per week you can realistically fit into your schedule. We all have lives that need to be tended to, but with Stacy’s plan, writing that book can become a reality with your current lifestyle.

Working with Stacy has given me the satisfaction of opening up that shipping box with my new book inside it. I can’t even begin to describe that feeling of accomplishment. However, once I saw the results of all my hard work and Stacy’s assistance, I literally said to myself, “Time to write my next book!” Her editing skills, coaching, and her whole mentoring process have been a happy dream come true for me!! Thanks from the bottom of my heart!!
